Christ is seated at the right hand of God and lives to intercede for us! Alleluia!
We’re entering the final week of Eastertide, also known as The Great Fifty Days. On Thursday, we celebrated the Feast of the Ascension which occurred 40 days following the Resurrection. With the Ascension, we walk through the 10 days the disciples waited in Jerusalem for the promised greater gift to arrive in what we now celebrate as the Pentecost.

Communion

Acts 16:16-34; Psalm 47; Revelation 22:10-21; John 17:20-26
Pray out loud the Collect for the Seventh Sunday in Easter from the Book of Common Prayer.
O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
Contemplation
Begin with a simple breath prayer from today’s lectionary:
Inhale: Come, Lord Jesus!
Exhale: Surely I am coming soon.
Repeat gently until you sense you are ready to move forward.
Prayerfully contemplate and respond to today’s art and music pairing.
