Welcome to Day 17 of Begin Again: Back to School at Restful. Yesterday we practiced naming the most important parts of our day with a “to-love” list. Today, we take another step: showing what’s most important through habits that connect us to the real, tangible world. Safeguarding love can't be sustained on a general or vitual level; just as Jesus' incarnation showed God’s love in a specific, tangible way, we're called to do the same. Incarnation reminds us that matter matters, and to walk in the restful way of the incarnate God is to embody loving presence in myriad, blessed ways.
