Each week, I share a photo from our 2022 sabbatical in the UK, Ireland, Quebec, and upstate NY.

Today’s photo looks over the Yorkshire Dales from the graveyard at St. Michael’s Church. We saw this church on our walk from our Airbnb in Grassington to the Fountaine Inn in Linton-on-Craven, North Yorkshire. Fun fact: Grassington is the town where the current version of All Creatures Great and Small is filmed, and St. Michael’s is the church where James and Helen’s wedding is filmed.

We took so many photos here, but this is the only one that looks out over the Dales from the church.
