Our Restful | Things conversation (or lack thereof)
Welcome, December! In the past, I’ve shared a list of things I learned once a quarter. With this new platform, I’d hoped to turn this practice into a monthly shared reflection, and now, a few months into this new rhythm, I’m calling that an aspirational goal. The very observant may have noticed that I did not mention an October or November Restful Things Zoom conversation. Something about the word restful keeps me accountable to unforced publishing rhythms. So you can trust that when I show up here, it’s out of a restful practice, and my hope is for you to feel that invitation deep in your soul. I hope you know that you are welcome to show up here weary, but only when it’s truly restful to do so.
Stay tuned for our next Restful Things conversation!
An Advent Eve invitation
You can listen to my invitation in the video above. In short, Advent begins tomorrow, and I’m praying for more people to join our Restful | Advent community!
Only paid subscribers will receive the daily posts leading up to Christmas. If you’re not sure if you’re a paid subscriber, send me a quick email and I can help you. If you’d like to be a paid subscriber but can’t afford it, send me a quick email and I’d be happy to comp you for a one-year subscription.
If you are a paid subscriber, would you take a few minutes this weekend to ask God if there’s anyone you know who’s looking for hope and might find encouragement in our little Restful | Advent community?

Would you invite three friends to join us this month?
Here are three ways to invite three friends
You can share the subscription link!
You can invite a group to subscribe together at a discounted price!
You can give gift subscriptions (for one month or a whole year)!
My favorite endorsement so far
And now back to our (ir)regularly-scheduled Restful | Things I’m Learning newsletter
Here are 4+ things I’m learning this autumn in varying degrees of gravitas and in no particular order.
